Is this club only for marketing majors?
No, this club is open to all majors! We need a diverse group of individuals to accomplish our goals and we are not limited to just business or marketing majors. Contact us at [email protected] on the skill set you want to work on and we can find the best role for you.
Do I have to pay a membership fee to join?
No, the Impact Marketing Club at UCCS (IMC) is free to join! We are committed to empowering students with real client experience to bring to their resumes.
Are there any leadership roles available?
Yes, we have a couple leadership roles available that would look great on a resume! Please explore our officers page for more information and contact us at [email protected] if you are interested.
What is the time commitment?
Other than set events, we are very flexible! Requests can be made for best meeting times in the week by contacting [email protected]. Currently we meet every other Tuesday at 4:30 pm. Please see our events page for more details on meetings and workshops. Projects can be coordinated on your time for however many hours you would like to work on them. Receive the experience you want. Just state how many hours you would like to commit up front and we can make it work.
What types of projects does the club do?
We mainly work on marketing consulting projects, with are most valued deliverable being a written report. We do host professional workshops and other events, so be sure to visit our event page or social media for upcoming events!
Do I need to take any marketing classes before joining?
No, our club is open to all knowledge and grade levels, whether you’re a seasoned marketer or just starting out. We offer a platform to grow, explore, and unleash your impact potential. Our projects consist of a vast team of students of all knowledge levels, so you can learn more on the job.
How do I join?
To join, please submit a membership request on our Mountain Lion Connect page by signing in with your UCCS credentials and clicking on the join button in the upper right corner of our Mountain Lion Connect page. You’ll receive membership confirmation in 3-4 business days to your email. Additionally you can contact us of your interest at [email protected].
